Created for Vivid Sydney 2016, Sweep slowly moves with the breeze. When viewed from a distance this work provides the illusion of suspended light rods bobbing softly and gracefully from side to side, like a school of fish in a deep current; however, when viewed up close the effect is very different. The installation comprises of a hundred acrylic tubes, standing 4m tall.

These images are printed directly onto white aluminium (except for A4 print) – resulting in an art-quality conversation piece with an industrial twist. Made with 2 metal sheets and a plastic core resulting in 3mm thickness.
